Please pray for Kitty

Kitty is precious.  I mean, super duper precious.  She and her husband work for Campus Crusade for Christ at USC.  She is waiting right now to get the results back for a tumor they found in her arm.  This is her post today on her blog.  I can't not share it.  Because it is amazing.  Praying for you, Kitty.

prayers.

  • Desperately in need of prayer for Annalee's second eye surgery on July 1.  Four  surgeries + four additional sedated procedures in 6 months has been hard on our family.  Praise God for success from both girls' kidney surgeries.  He is able to do far more than we ask or can imagine!  Please pray for Annalee's safety during anesthesia/surgery, success from this surgery, and a much needed respite from medical woes.  Click here for Laura's blog.  She is pretty awesome.
  •  Please pray for my friend, Patty.  Pray that her house here in Columbia would sell or rent.  Pray the house they have put an offer on, goes through.  Pray for peace.
  • Pray for Lisa.  She is having a really rough time right now.  Please pray.
  • Pray for my friends who have moved in the past year.
  • Pray for Susan (Allison's sister.)  She is due with her first baby boy in 4 weeks.  Her husband, Davis, is set to deploy to Afghanistan a few weeks after the baby is born.  Pray also for our families.  We miss them deeply.
  • "My prayer is that God will help me be truly grateful for the manna He has been dropping on my family this year.  I recognize it as gifts from Him, and I am astonished by his grace, but I'm having a hard time being truly grateful because it's not necessarily what I chose for myself. He is feeding us right now, and he is making it very clear that he's 100% in control, and we are not lacking for anything. But I'm having a really hard time being totally happy that I'm having to wait and trust and obey. Pray that I would love him better and not be a complainer or grumbler."

and the winner is.......

I am so excited about this new adventure.
Prayer is vital to our relationship with the Heavenly Father.
Breathing.
Growing.
Weed plucking.
Blossoming.
Sowing.

So, come and join in.
Pray.
I will be weekly posting prayers I have received.
I will also post updates on prayer requests.

Here is the way we are going to begin.
Email me here.
Or you may post a comment on the blog.
You may give names.
Or you can be anonymous.
Please send me links and pictures if you would like to.

I want this to be a place where you can come and feel wrapped in prayer.
Regardless of your circumstance.
We all have good and bad times.
My prayer for this prayer blog is for Glory to be brought to Him who loves us deeply.
I pray that no gossip would arise out of this blog.
Only prayer and compassion for others.
No judgmental comments.
No hurtful words.

This blog was not created to be a burden on anyone.
We are to cast our burdens on the Lord.
Lay them at the foot of the cross.
Trust Him with our burdens.
And grow to love Him more deeply.
Draw near to Him.
Abide in Him.

"Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for

   "All flesh is like grass
and all its glory like the flower of grass.
    The grass withers,
   and the flower falls,
but the word of the Lord remains forever."

And this word is the good news that was preached to you."
1 Peter 1:22-25
The name of this blog is "imperishable seeds."
